Yes, it's dark.
I only went to Norway once. The landscape is superb and sometimes impressive. It's up to humanity to adapt to nature ; it was my feeling.
It's the "spritual" ascent of a difficult mountain. And the video shows winter and short days. It's dark but strong.
Just my idea.

You should look up Einar Selvik. He did a whole album for Assassins Creed: Valhalla called Wave of Giants. I also like the official soundtrack for the Banner saga by Austin Wintory.
