Ran across this article and thought it was interesting. Researchers have found a sling bullet inscribed with the name Julius Caesar. The Spanish researchers speculate that it was meant to show support for Caesar  versus Pompey the Great in Caesar’s Civil War.

More likely to be the name of commanders, for logistics reasons ? I can't read the article but doesn't one of the faces have another name ? (casca ?)
