What we might need is an international system. This works brilliantly in martial arts. I suggested a system. It works. The slinger in the video is definitely having fun. I personally can't do much with this type of sling dancing.

He definitely has a unique style, and a lot of power.  But one thing to keep in mind is that when only hits are shown in a video, that means all the misses have been cut.  ;)

Like Blindsquirrel. mentioned, I'd be curious to see the accuracy of that style in an uncut video covering a set of 10 or more.  I certainly don't know.  He might hit the target like crazy.  I think it would be difficult though with all the sling movement as well as the full body rotation.  He's definitley entertaining to watch. :thumb:

He’s not going to out distance goober or AA and he’s not going to have better accuracy than jaegoor but he’s got that thing that makes him interesting to watch. I’m enjoying his content. Just wish I knew what he was saying. Hope he’s a wildcard in Ibiza this year . Pirouette at 13m with tennis balls would be amazing to watch

He says he invented such way of throwing stones when he was a child for more power. He also warns it is more diffcult to hit a target.

If you see a video of target slinging, and the slinger is hitting the target every time, there's basically a 100% chance that misses weren't included.  Unless it's one of Jaegoor's videos. ::) ;)

And just to mention, I don't mean that in a bad way at all.  For the most part, if someone is watching a slinging video they want to see hits.  It all depends on what the person making the video wants to show.  Seeing.a bunch of hits is certainly entertaining.  But seeing a video of someone struggle to accomplish a difficult hit and finally get it is also pretty awesome!  It's great having both kinds of videos out there.

Definitely a miss read on the chronograph, those ones don’t like any type of movement especially being hit. Definitely throwing fast but not that fast.

Yeah, I saw this post. I agree Mersa, it's fast, but not that fast. That high readout likely came from the fact that he hit the chronograph post which caused an early activation of the back sensor, giving a higher reading than it was.

But serious Kudos for him to get the projectile through that opening at full power!

Yeah, I would also say I'm skeptical of the reading.  I agree that he's getting some good speed, but I don't think the reading is accurate for a couple reasons.  We've seen that kind of speed recorded, but it hasn't been with that type of sling or that slinging technique.  I'm not saying it's impossible, but the sling isn't particularly long and the power stroke also looks to be pretty short (it's hard to tell with the choppy edit).  Not sure why he doesn't show a full unedited throw from loading the sling to showing the reading on the chronograph.

The other thing is you can see him physically dodging the ball when it bounces back at him.  I know it's hitting a wall, and speed will be lost.  But sorry, if the speed going into the wall is 84.9 m/s, and he's only 4 steps away (which we see in the video when he walks up to it), there's no way a human is dodging out of the way.
