just wanted to share this video I found of a community slinging together in Umatac, a village in Guam.

Interesting. I did hear the Hawaiians had a bit of a slinging history, so it wouldn't surprise me if some other pacific islands are similar. A widespread weapon indeed!

The slingers on Guam are great, they came to the Internationals in Mallorca twice. They have come from almost nothing to getting many young people into the sport through its cultural history on their islands. Hafa Adai!

There is a fair amount activity from the Chamorro (Guam native) slinging community of the FB Worldwide slinging forum. Some SERIOUS slinging there, with an ancient lineage!
