Title: Weaving loom_small, finishing nail pattern to avoid spliting the frame. Post by David Beatty on Dec 17th, 2022 at 2:47pm
Attached is a printable pattern for 102 holes total. I glued my pin pattern to a frame like T.J.Potter's ( http://www.seekyee.com/Slings/howtos/pegloom.htm ). Potter put his nails all in a row and experienced some splitting of the frame.
My frame is 10 inches high by 12 inches wide. I glued the paper pattern to the frame and predrilled all the holes. No splitting occurred. David ![]() |

Hit ur nails points, to blunt them before u drive them. Sharpe nails split wood fibers, blunted nails crush wood fibers. No more splits.
