We'll always miss you, Alex :'(
This forum wouldn't be what it is today without you. Rest in peace, friend! |

I still can't really wrap my head around the fact that CA is no longer with us. Even when things would get slow around here, I always thought that slinging on the forum would keep going because CA would never stop. He would always be here. It is heartbreaking that we've lost our friend.
One of the fondest memories I have here was getting a gold star from CA for one of the big stone slinging videos I made. Just an awesome feeling that something I did with a sling got his attention enough to do that. We miss you, buddy. RIP |

c_a was never shy about giving his opinion about something and never backed down from an argument. At the same time he was a kind, generous, selfless person who would do anything to help someone else. Though I never met him personally, in the fourteen years I've been here we became very good friends.
We are all left reeling from his untimely passing. RIP, Curious Aardvark. We will always remember and miss you. |

C_A was one of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. You can bet he’s not taking this as an excuse to rest. He’s surely slinging stones in the sky and working tirelessly at another thankless task that he believes in. Alex, you’ll be missed on at least two continents.

This is more than just a forum. It's brought so many people together. It's become a living, growing history of thoughts, ideas, jokes, debates and friendships in the modern rebirth of slinging. And it exists because of what you did CA. God bless you and rest in peace Sir.

It is with great sadness that I hear this message.
I have met CA once, and I remember him as a funny bloke, always a smile on lips. I remember him as a faithful man, executing his role as an admin here in good times as well as stormy times. We as a community owe him a lot. Alex, I wish you a good passing on. Enjoy it, wherever you may be. To his family I'd like to offer my sincere condolences. Alex's life here on earth may have come to an end but his memory will remain very lively. |
