Even if only a couple of us post a video here, it would be crazy not to have a topic for this on the forum.

So we're a go for the Pumpkin Challenge 2022.

Rules are simple.  Get a pumpkin and ding, dent, crack, smash, whatever...just bust it up with some nice slinging!

Great video IG!  That was a fantastic idea!  Plywood is definitely some tough stuff.

It's funny that ever year we keep raising the bar with these pumpkin challenges.  And in one way or another, you, Mersa, and I were all kind of defeated by the pumpkin this year.  :-?

Yeah, It wouldn't have been right if I'd succeeded, it would have been totally off theme. :)

Okay so, mersa.
1) where did you get the armour piercing glandes ?
2) how did you get them burning ?
3) what was the sling pouch made of ?
4) what the hell actually exploded to kill the phone ?

I'd have grabbed the big rock and screaming: 'die you orange skinned bastard die !'
Smashed it with the big rock.
Maybe not strictly slinging, but ultimately satisfying :-)

Joe I forgot to say that I loved every moment of your video. Especially the grabbing of the pumpkin to chuck it against the plywood, and then to top it off with the slow roll away, LOL

1) the big 300g glande is actually 2 plum bobs joined together , if your talking about the 80g glande that’s a small bit of tungsten inside a basket arrow head wrapped in rags.
2) carburettor cleaner seemed to work best of the flammable stuff I had on hand.
3) entire sling made from Kevlar
4) ricochet was a stone off the top edge of pumpkin

In any case, your video is very visual. Good.
