This was just going to be a normal practice session, but I was using an old favorite sling that I haven't used for several months so I decided to record it.  The results were pretty good so I cut a video together.

Have you tryed a cinching fingerloop, will stop it flopping around 

Great video and great slinging!   Your yard and target are the stuff some of my dreams are made of.

I'm a city apartment-dweller who's exiled by circumstances to slinging irregular rocks at beer cans along the Amtrak main line, so I envy private backyard targets and reusable ammo like tennis balls.   Oh, well -- at least I've got my own private slinging grounds, my ammo is free and the next piece of ammo is always right next to my feet!

@Mersa - The 15+6 was the main reason I decided to put a video together of the session.  I thought about only using that round, but I wanted to see what my score was for the whole thing.  The 100 was a surprise.  As I was going through the video and adding in the score, I thought I had a shot at 90.  And as I got closer to the end I thought 100 could be reached but figured I would miss it by a point or two.  It felt really good to reach that.  Especially with a couple sixes right at the beginning.

@Lacumo - Just like everyone else on this forum, you have an open invitation if you're ever in western Pennsylvania and want to stop by for some slinging.  Give me enough of a heads up and I can make a whole bunch of ice balls for the event!  :)

Forgot to answer this.  I have used cinching loops.  I'm fine with the ones that need to be pulled tight and pretty much stay in place.  I'm not a big fan of the ones that are able to freely loosen and tighten depending on whether the cord has tension on it.

I shortened up the loop on that sling I was using.  It should be fine now.  I'll hopefully find out tonight.  I'm hoping to get out for another 100 round after work.

I did my attempt. It was a pretty good session. I’d expect to score around 100-110 judging by my averages so this score was pretty good.

I really like the formats we play and how different the feel is mentally.
100 ball felt like I didn’t know my score so I was much more relaxed but thinking I’m behind but not counting exactly.

Cheers buddy!  It's awesome to see others doing this.  It wasn't really intended as a "challenge".  I was just recording a practice session.  But it's awesome seeing what it turned into.  I can't wait to see some more.

Good round Blindsquirrel.  Definitely agree about the focus.  Doing 100 in a row is a very different thing.  Very much in the 'marathon rather than a sprint' kind of thinking.

I saw you keeping score while going.  I wonder if that adds an advantage or disadvantage (or neither).  Every time I've done it, I have a general sense of whether a particular round is good or bad.  But I never tally any score until reviewing the video later.

Thanks man!  Getting around does get easier every day.  My foot, ankle, and lower leg still swell up a bit if I over do it.  That slinging session actually got me swelled up quite a bit.  ;D
But overall I think it's helpful.  Even just walking around the yard to pick up the tennis balls gets the foot and ankle moving around.  Things feel nice and loosened up afterward.

I did another 100-Round tonight.  I didn't tally it, but I didn't do nearly as well.  Only the last two rounds were good.  Probably scored in the 60s overall.

I got a new personal record for the 100 Round.  13 meters distance with tennis balls.

Thanks guys.  I keep setting new goals with the 100 Round.  First was to break 100 points.  I've done that a couple times now.  The second was to get fewer than 20 misses, and I got that now too.  The next goal is to get target hits with a full bucket of 20 tennis balls in a row without a miss.  I've had 19 out of 20 a couple times, but always seem to miss one.

I want to score over 150. To do that you need a minimum of half Diana’s .
Also want to score over 100 points at 20m
Been a while since i scored but practice routine. But I might see how I go this weekend
