115 gram sling bullet in first pic and 50 gram sling bullet in 2nd.
115 gram bullet actually made it through the gel the full 6 inches and poked out the other side and then got sucked back into the gel. The 50 gram bullet penetrated a full 4 inches. This stuff is very tuff, harder to stab than human skin for sure and is supposed to represent mucle tissue, not organs. As such, if this was fired at a human torsos, it would likely get a pass through. I also fired a 40# draw recurve bow pulling 31 inches and it got between 3.5-6 inches of penetration depending on overdraw or not.
The energies of the large sling bullet was measured to be 136 fps again, producing 73 ft lb of energy, 50 gram bullet speed was measured to be 168 fps and produced 47 ft lb of energy (yes a new speed record for me! :)).

I will make a full, in depth video in the future with it all recorded in one set in the future

The sling for the larger bullet is the same as the one in the vid of me showing my style of throwing, about center chest to finger loop on middle finger.
The second sling is a much smaller pouch design because from experimentation I have found that certain sized bullets must be used with specific sized and shaped pouches in order to consistently rifle while throwing at full power. That sling is same length and both are paracord and leather.

The arrows were 550 grain or roughly 35 grams. I'll be doing another video at a longer range and of both types of slings and bullets, as well as the arrow test all in one take so we can all have a much better idea of the affects on camera  ;D

the whole arrow only weighed 35 gms ?
