Title: Returning after a long absence.

I've been away for quite a while, I used to braid slings from #18 nylon seine twine and wool and used to go under the brand Fiberworks Armory. I'm not interested in braiding for sale at this time. Especially after noticing that there are some talented folks out there. But I am trying to break back into slinging again. I've noticed on Youtube that some folks are using plain tennis balls for practice. Is that the less dangerous projectile of choice currently?

Welcome (back) from Pennsylvania!

Yep, tennis balls are pretty much the go-to for most folks.  They're a lot less dangerous that most other projectiles, and also readily available so anyone can get them.

The other good thing about tennis balls us that it's an international standard, so can be used for online competitions, with reasonable expectations that everyone's using the same ammo.
