I have a special love for elephants. When I was born I was given an elephant plush and it kept the monsters away from under my bed for many many years. I still have that friend and it is very worn and has many stitches. I intend to take it with me in the grave.

I'm pretty much indifferent to elephants.  I believe they're extremely intelligent creatures, and should be respected as such.  But no general attachment to them.

When I think of elephants, this is what comes to my mind: https://youtu.be/_v2exWrsGOc.  One of my favorites.  I could watch it over and over.

I love elephants and lions when I see videos like this. All the videos of lions that have been helped or raised by people and then reunited with those people years later have made me wish I could have a lion for years. But realistically probably not a good idea.

I've always been fond of elephants... so majestic and intelligent.

they're okay.
But when an african elephants tread in a deep hole and falls over - that hole was dug by an aardvark :-)

My sister is the elephant mad one in out family.

I mostly find myself wondering what they taste like.
Now I wouldn't go out and kill one.
But were I to come across a fairly fresh dead one that poachers had killed for the ivory. I'd definitely cut a few steaks before continuing tracking and shooting the poachers.
