Due to some recent events, it was suggested that some general forum rules to help make things clearer for members and moderators could be beneficial. Here are the suggested rules at the present moment. Comments, criticisms and recommendations are appreciated and all will be considered. Thanks!

1. No Spam (Unsolicited advertisements or repeated posts).
2. Where possible, strive to give sources for information and credit to respective authors/artists.
3. No abusive or threatening language. This includes name calling. Treat others as you would wish to be treated. Some swear words are covered by a filter so may appear changed in your final post.
4. Sexually explicit material and gore is not welcome on the forum.
5. No Doxing (sharing of members private information).
6. No discussion of politics or religion, except as it relates to slinging in an academic or historical way.  Some examples are David and Goliath, or Palestinian slinging during protests.  Please keep any statements respectful.
7. External links for things to purchase are fine.  If you find something available for sale (from Amazon or any other online store) that might be useful to other slingers, feel free to post a link.  It should be noted that slinging.org is not affiliated with any external websites or vendors, and anything you purchase should be used with caution and care.
8. All decisions are up to the discretion of the moderators and administrators.

Can I start a thread on the pros and cons of sexism?

As long as the rules are followed, then I can see no reason not to.

After this last year Ill cut my losses. These rules sound fair to me.  ;)

   I'm 93% sure that we used to have a set of rules posted somewhere.  Anyway Kick's rules seem fine to me. 

Sounds pretty much like standard rules on almost any other site !
