Nice! I liked the airgun needle ammo. how far can it stick?
I had made an airgun with a barrel made out of pen tubes for needles but the needles tumbled so I had to shoot from 5cm to have it stick I might make a video of it one day.
it could mark coins and deform the needles.

I've only tried it once. So I don’t know how the needle behaves with multiple shots.

I am talking about shooting needles, they are interesting because they are supposed to go very fast even with 1 or 2 Joules. So if they could stabilize by spin (impossible) it would make a nice target shooter at long ranges.

Yeah the small blowgun/tube is most likely what the ninjas used
And the needles would have been poisoned as well.
If you had a small enough rifled barrel needles would spin :thumb:

The product on Jaegoor's his link is familiar. I shot them in the 80s. Their Finnish name is "Tupsupää". (tassel head)

yes I will try it again if I make a video.
the problem is that the length to diameter ratio of a needle is very big and it would need a lot of rpm to stabilize.

I've used these in a slingshot. Got to be honest, slightly scary having a pointy bit of metal fly right over your hand, but very fun and stick amazingly well into wood.
