Hello All,

I have been hooked. I started watching the YouTube Practical Paracord channel and I thought "I could get into that".

I reviewed some of the posts on how some people make their slings. I made some slings with some materials I had lying around. So far, I have made 2 simple rock slings, 2 seatbelt slings, and I have tied a Peruvian Shepherd's Sling out of paracord.

I took my wife and dog out for some practice today throwing some tennis balls, and we had a blast.

Obviously, anyone who has attempted this knows how easy this looks, but how hard it is to actually be accurate. I am looking forward to learning more about slinging, making more different types, and practicing.

Ohh yea, Im from Michigan, USA, EARTH ;D

Was that you slinging on the virtual competition? I need to go back and watch it. If so and if Im remembering right it was quite impressive for someone just starting out. Welcome!
