Title: Chariots and Mounted Combat
Post by Kick on Nov 17th, 2021 at 7:35am
Found this amazing video that covers the origins of the modern horse, where chariots came from and how mounted warfare came about. Really fascinating and on a topic I had never really thought about or questioned.

didn't know they used spiked cheek pieces to steer chariots.

I wish we had horses instead of cars, it would smell like poopy but it would be cool.

P.S.: I didn't write poopy hahaha

You say that, but when you get the bill for hay, stabling, water, food, shoes saddles, bridles and stirrups you might change your mind. Also, "saddle sore" is a saying for a reason :D

cars, gas, maintenance, insurance aren't for free neither and they don't breed. With horses we would have more/different jobs and cleaner air, smellier but cleaner.  :P
