A little while back I got a big package of blue leather.  I bought it as scraps, so it was pretty cheap.  But now I have more than I'll ever use.  If anyone would like some, I'll send it to you free of charge.

Most of the leather is about 2mm think.  It's also pretty stiff, so you may have to soften it to get a good pouch.

If anyone would like some, I'll try to put enough to make a few pouches in a small envelop and ship it as cheap as I can.  But what you receive will be random and possibly cut strangely.  These are scraps.  The color is beautiful though.  Any takers, just send me a message.

Just an update.  I've sent leather out to 5 or 6 folks here, but still have a good bit left.  If there are any other takers, this offer is still open.

lol just cleared the top of the laser cutter, might cut a pouch this afternoon :-)

I've been thinking about making a strop with some of the leather. We'll see!  :D

I did cut a pouch - but overcooked the laser settings and it got a bit 'crispy' lol
Turned out the templare I used had double outlines, so it all got two doses of the deathray.

Has now been fixed.

Currently in the middle of a bunch of stuff (mainly a virtual pinball machine build), including clearing crap from my workshop (the machine needs to have somewhere to go).
So when that's all done and the top of the laser doesn't have a 32inch monitor box on top (just about the only place I could put it) I'll dig out some more blue and have another go :-)

Right off to brave the gales in a very small car, wish me luck !

That stuff is a lot thicker than the blue leather i have.

I sanded the rough side  with my belt sander inverted,  to thin it down some.

Took me awhile to get around to posting this mostly because this maybe some of my worst stitching ever but thankfully this is just a scrap piece left over from where I squared up one edge...

Your phone should have an edit function where you can adjust the size.  Or just stop posting directly from your phone.  Send the image to a real computer and use one of several free photo editors to change the size and other attributes.  Save all your slinging pictures in a dedicated folder. THEN post here. 

Phone is the only internet connection I have at the moment...

Just an update.  There have been quite a few takers, but I still have some of this leather left.  If anyone else would like a few pieces, just send me a message.  It will be shipped out for free.
