Hello slinging.org,

Thank you for accepting my membership request. I'm excited to develop this ancient skill of slinging over the years.

I've begun practicing with marshmallow ammo since July 2021. Lately however, I've considered investing in other sorts of reusable ammo such as this toy product: https://www.amazon.com/More-fun-Toss-Catch-Game/dp/B01ELBPFA8

That toy you have linked should work. Although you'll be purchasing extra stuff you don't need (meaning the paddles). Unless you want those too. I (and likely a lot of other folks here) would recommend just getting some tennis balls. Reusable and safe.

I love using marshmallows as ammo. Great for indoor practice. Alternatively I recommend cork plugs.

San Jose! I'm very close, I live in Livermore. Maybe someday we can get the CA slingers together and blast apart some watermelons or something...

On the theme of California slingers I'm still looking for someone in la.

I know the state is about 4 times bigger than my whole country, and I struggle to get people to travel less than 50 miles.

Just thought I'd remind anyone, I still need a slinger in la.
