You should have section dedicated to listing all known slinging clubs.

Even if there are none atm, we should have the room anyway cuz we are  going have a least one club if its the last thing id o

The public park that I sling at isn't big enough for an actual team of slingers so I'm calling around at various Church property seeing if I can use their fields

Theres one that has a little league field with no fence and beyond that is grass.

Once I get a location I'll start the advert campaign

You can set up a website pretty easily over a wordpress.com

There’s a free hosting version if you don’t mind a little banner ad. I would also recommend buying a domain. They only cost about $10/year and you can set the domain up to redirect to the free wordpress site. Why do it this way? If you decide you need better web hosting, you can redirect your domain somewhere else later and you don’t have to tell everyone to go to a different website.

I buy my domains at namecheap... but there’s lots of places to do that part too. I’m no expert but I would be happy to help if you want me to.

Church property is a great idea.  Have you thought about offering to teach slinging to church youth groups?  Great tie-in with studying the Book of Samuel (“David and Goliath”)

I did a david and gfoliath stint at a local church a few years back.

They were just interested in it for that particular lesson. Not long term.

I wonder if Josephusflav ever got anywhere with this club.  I don't recall seeing anything from him for a while.

It's tough to keep anything going long term.
We all have enthusiastic bursts of energy, it's maintaining it in the face of public and community apathy that's the hard bit.

The Club wasnt looking so hot for a while...

We couldn't find land for stone throwing

However the other day me and a freind were slinging golf balls in the park and and rando came along and showed interest

We let him try and now he is hooked and we exchanged phone #s


So it looks like the club is still on but we will be forced to use golf balls as a economic concession.

Slinging golf balls is legal at the park but not probably not stones

Don't you get public baseball fields in the states ?
