Title: Sisal string for extracting fibre Post by Teg on Apr 29th, 2021 at 2:53pm
I currently have a decent stock of thick sisal string, which is suitable to extract fibres from.
The strings are each ~1.5 m long and sold in bundles of 20 pieces (~175 gramms). The fibres from 10 strings yield for me a balearic sling about ~55 cm long. Your mileage may vary considerably on how long and how thick you make your sling. For the fibre extraction procedure see: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ib0lA0HcVMI For pricing please send me a private message. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

1.5 m are the string segments.
Pulling out some random fibers: Most of the fibers will be in the range of ~30-40 cm to 1 m. |

Isn’t that just bale twine?
