Howdy,

From Colorado, been interested in slinging for just over a year and decided it was time I join this site officially instead of just lurking as a guest.

I tend to be super busy with my job and don't have a lot of time to practice, but love it when I do. I started off learning a figure-eight with the duct tape sling from Tod's Workshop on Youtube that I made, have bought a paracord one since then, and am looking at braiding one and trying to learn the Balearic style.

Hope you all are doing well, and it's a pleasure to be here.

BTW duct tape makes a good sling but medical tape makes a better one IMO.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! I have gone ahead and made my braided split-pouch, and am still working on the Balearic style, it is an absolute blast when you feel all the little physics of the cast singing instead of fighting each other. Still pulling to the left, not sure why.
