Title: A braiding challenge
Post by Teg on Feb 21st, 2021 at 5:21pm
For those of you still in lockdown: Here is a small braiding challenge.
A pat on the shoulder for those able to reproduce it. No hints nor solution will be given by me† :D
But if you figure it out, I'm curious to see your pieces.

One solution is to just pretend you made Tegís by changing the colors a little bit.

I could splice it but this is a continuous braid.

I can think of several solutions, all of them from cheating to down right nefarious. The simplest and most expensive would be to fly to Tegís house and take it from him. Pretty sure he sold his soul for this one.

Itís obviously a 4-D braid. All of the ends are hidden on an axis perpendicular to most of the universe.

As knowledge is power, which, as you all know, distorts the universe, said axis with all the ends must be in L-space ::)

You are sort of on the right track with splicing  ;)
