Title: Picture of sling, hopefully!
Post by SHEP on Nov 21st, 2020 at 11:22am
I am having troubles working the technical stuff out to post pictures etc. I hope the attached works ok!

Had great fun slinging heavy rubber balls today. Flew about 100 yards sometimes, when not a comedy go.

I would like to know what this suggested SITH is please?

A hopefully better one of the sling, I made it from 30 strands of B55 Dacron bowstring material.

That looks real nice Shep!  Do you just have leather stitched over the sides of the split pouch?

It's an annual sling exchange.  SITH is an acronym for Sling In The Hat.  The thread is here: http://slinging.org/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1605185263.  You can also find it if you go in the General Slinging Discussion area from the home page of the forum.

And don't worry about the picture size.  One of the moderators should be able to shrink it down for you.

Yes, pictures always do unless you size them down. The quickest way that I've found is to use MS Paint (if you have Windows) and use the resize function, resize to 20% and save it as a small version.

What Joe said. You might get lucky and get a very nice sling. On the other hand you might get mine so weigh your options. ;)

Welcome, Shep.  I shrunk you picture for you.  I haven't made a sling for 6 1/2 years.  It's a long, sad story.  The one I make for the SITH will be my first since then.  I have no idea how much I remember.
