I was wondering if you guys still do the sling trade or I guess it’s kind like a secret Santa every one hand makes a sling then sends it to one person and you get one In return? I saw there was one done when i joined but missed it, Im hoping to join in on this one this year. :-?

It's supposed to be around Christmas time but it usually stretched out to the whole year because not everyone gets around to it all that quickly... The actual drawing of the names happens around November/December so you'll have to wait a while still for the next one :D

Sling-in-the-hat is the big group trade, but a lot of us are up for a trade pretty much any time of year.

I’ll be happy to talk about trading, but if you don’t mind spending a little money, there are also some very nice slings for sale around here. I’ll save you some time scouring the forum and post links here... I will probably miss a few, so anyone else please feel free to chime in:
AmdoCraft makes beautiful Tibetan slings: https://shop.amdocraft.com/ And also Ryan’s Old Time Visions on Etsy is a good place to buy shepherd slings: https://etsy.me/3k4cXqY There’s also David the Shepherd’s slings: http://www.davidtheshepherd.com/ And Dangergoods sells DIY paracord kits: https://www.dangergoods.com/ |
