I’m sure most of you are familiar with the guy from Primitive Technology on YouTube. I just saw that he wrote a new book which will be available in October. I wonder if it will cover the sling? I have his email and will ask him about it and post the answer back here. He’s a great guy and an awesome slinger. I told him about our group here but not sure if he joined.

Anyone else here a fan of his? Who’s buying a book? I’m picking up a couple!

never heard of the guy - but then I tend to watch mainly music videos on youtube.

The thing about slings is that they are pretty useless for survivial, unless you already know what you are doing and have a lot of experience.

The cord is much better served with snares, traps and deadlines.

So interesting to see if he's included it.

Just found out he does have the sling in his book. If you preorder, let me know here on the forum. Would be a great stocking stuffer for the holidays!

I've seen his vids before. Pretty good stuff. For twenty bucks it had better be a really good book.

I will definitely be checking it out. Cant ever have enough books on hand
