Hello everybody! I am so excited to have stumbled upon this fantastic resource. I have been slinging since 2010 and am completely self taught. To see all the different slinging forms, and the various configurations of sling and ammo, I am really looking forward to how my own technique and craft develops with all of your experience and input. I plan to upload some videos of me slinging, and my own technique to sling accurately, and then start trying some new styles. I make cloth pouch and woven slings, but not like any of the ones I've seen here. I'd say my slings are basic in comparison lol. Very primitive. Anyway, thank you for accepting me... I've been looking for a community like this for a long time.

Welcome from Finland! We really like having pictures and really love having video especially of people's different techniques so looking forward to seeing that. There are a lot of very fancy slings that get posted but if it's ugly and works, in my opinion it stops being ugly :D

Hello from pennsylvania! I like those slings. If you're not into the plain look, you can always spice it up! But i wouldnt say they're ugly at all, as long as you can hit with them.

Don’t be intimidated by the pretty looking slings. I can only speak for my own designs, but the ones that took me half an hour to make hurl rocks as well as the slings I spent ten hours on.

Welcome. Those look like my first slings except much nicer.
Please do upload whatever pics and videos you can. I think it's safe to say we all enjoy watching new sling videos.
By the way, where are you located in Oregon? East/West?

Hah, those are what at least half my slings end up looking like, anyway.

The important thing is, do they work? That's all that is Important.
