The title says it all!
The quarterly contest has a lot of dream slings that are an accomplishment in themselves. I thought the opposite end of the spectrum might be cool.
I'm not saying we should have a "who can make the worst sling" contest but rather the best simply made sling in under 15 minutes.
Any bites?

Sheepshank slings can be made in under 15 minutes.
Don't know if I could make A seat belt sling in under 15, but it would be close :)

A seatbelt sling if you have all of the materials can be made in ten minutes, and it's a great sling!

My red and black sling that is in the competition takes me for just the base of the sling not including the leather, 2 hours to make then another 2 hours for the leather, so it, for sure won't make it in this topic. Plus that sling is more of a workhorse vs a beauty, I just thought I put it in there for the fun of it, it does look prett nice though.

just an easy duct tape sling - took 5 minutes.

Here's my favorite "field-expedient" sling. Made in about 15 minutes. 3 bowline knots, one overhand knot, and three pieces of Duct tape (makes for a wider pouch which I prefer). The cord is more like curtain cord than 550 cord which I appreciate, it seems to cut through the air better.

knotted skinny split and split ball
a few overhand knots a retention loop knot ... done
