these are the slings I have now, if you want leather on them i can put them, the ones with blue color is plastic, give more durability but is not legal for baleric competitions, only natural fibers are permited.

These are no doubt some of the nicest I have seen. Would love to purchase one. Although, I see the last post was April 2015. Are there any left, and are there tutorials to help me get started at giving it a try myself?

Hello. Here in Menorca there was lot of genuine shoes, very big industry’s at the 70’s,80’s...
An old man give to me this leather of REAL ARMADILLO, they used to make shoes and could easily has 40 years old. Aswell a small piece of alligator that they used to make expensive boots.
So is someone wants an special balearic sling edition I with real armadillo leather( I think maximum I can make 4-5 slings) alligators only 1.

Hello, I have been working in some new slings. After researching in some antic books I found a description of the balearic slings used with the CARTAGINESE in cartago. Magon went to islands to get slinger for the fight against rome, the slingers in the battle had three slings (all this everyone know it) but this is the new part: the slings where made with natural fibers or hair and in the pouch had leather fixed up transversal, small pieces crossing over it.
So this is what my imagination take out. They work good

The stones have different friction, and spinns in different way. In my tests for objectives between 20-50m big stones have good flights and strong shoots, this slings are not for long distance.

What side of the sling do you like best?
I notice you sometimes have the leather on the side of the "knee", and other times on the opposite side.
