Willing to trade for a really cool sling. Or maybe something else if it seems cool. Sling is what im looking for.

i don't have a camera to take pictures of it with, but i made the same type of sling as the one on the front cover, if your interested in trading for it.......

That's one of Bob Bergs' isn't it? He is the guy that got me started, many moons ago. I have a couple of his that are over 11 years old.

Yeah, definitely looks like Thunderbird atlatl. It's probably worth more than a typical sling, in my estimation. I'd give you a Tibetan sling for it, but I'd be ripping you off, you can order one yourself if you've got 5 dollars and don't mind waiting for something to come from China. I'd hold out for a really nice Peruvian or something if I were you.

Revolutionary, I'd be interested in seeing that sling or trading you for it. Sling for sling or $$s.

The sling on the cover of slinging.org is from Guam. It's one of the only surviving natural fiber artifacts from the ancient ancestors. The original sling has a wrist loop and the stone is actually the size of a large potato, about the same diameter as a baseball around the center of the stone.

I make these out of wild hibiscus, coconut, pandanas and the common jute and hemp.

Yes, it is mine. Made it from wild hibiscus bark.
