Picked up some black and neon green fishing dropline. Should work well and make a cool colored sling.

I've had some success with nylon. It comes in so many forms that it really depends, but mason line-like nylon should make a great sling. Good luck.

It made a really cool sling. I made a six string with two three srting pouch, whhatever its called. Very colorful so I'm happy 8-)
