Drill a hole into the wire nut. put screw through it. cut off screw head and sharpen it with a file. *Check what size nut you need for arrow/dart.* Wire Nut acts to protect the tip from splitting.

Do you know how much the nut weighs by itself? Those look like they would make great "nutters" or really cheap small game arrows that don't break the bank if you lose 8-16 or so, squirrel hunting or stumping. Bill

In the same vein, small bullet casings on the end of arrows work well as blunts if you have a firing range nearby.

Idealy you can take some lead bird shot and put ut in the shell and then weigh it until it is your usual weight (125gr, 145gr, etc.) then take a propane torch over the bottom and all the lead will melt and re harden and you then have a weighted blunt.
