Title: Ex Member Lilianna
Post by Marilith on Mar 1st, 2010 at 5:57pm
I logged in last night and updated my profile, came here today and found I was an ex member without any explanation.
when first I tried registering to this site I got a couple of pop ups asking for my login and I gave it, not knowing any better.
I have re-registered under this ID, and am in the process of checking any other places I use my first name for logins and changing the associated passwords.
If anything was done under my old ID I am sorry, I had nothing to do with it!
:(

As I have stated in the Introductions thread I fear I may have accidentally deleted you you in a spammer cleanout. Please accept my apologies and thankyou for your persistence.

Greetings Marilith,

I look forward to seeing your pictures of it and especially hearing of how you go using it. I would love to send you one of my own slings; nowhere near as pretty as a Tutenkahmen sling but very functional and durable. PM me your name and mailing address if you wish.

Funnily enough, despite having made literally hundreds of slings, I don't  really consider myself a slingmaker as they are all of modern synthetic material. Some nice factory in China braids the cords and make the belting for me. All I have to do is assemble it into a sling.

Regards,

Aussie.

It could be that pop up that asks for a username and password.

lol oops. Think this one is mine too :-)
Any new members with either 0 posts or that shows as having made posts but has none left get automatically deleted these days.
Saves huge amounts of time clearing spam.

My advice, join and post immediately lol

At the end of the day there is nothing on the forum hidden from non-members so no reason to join unless you want to post :-)

Anyway sorry about this one - I probably should have checked a bit more first ;-)

Maybe make a pop-up or note in the signing up process saying to post right way, as new members might not notice that they have a PM.

I did post, in the introductions fora, as Lilianna and and answered as Marilith.
"Has none left" I do not understand

already done that in the introduction email :-)

changed that before I started deleting all accounts with zero posts.

The 'has no posts left' remark refers to the way information on members is displayed on the admin screen.

If a member has spammed and that spam has been deleted then you will get a member with no posts but in the days since last post there will be a number.
Now that can only happen if the person spammed the spam was deleted so no posts, but the table shows posts have been made.
That member would be deleted.
Also any members with zero posts just get deleted.
you can see what I mean below.
