we actually got a proper spambot hit monday.
approx 40 threads (maybe more - I wasn't counting)
some old some new in all sections were hit.

some of you might consequently be getting thread update emails from these threads and some of you are wondering why I seem to have split so many threads.

easiest way to delete 3 pages of spam is to split the thread at the first spam post and then delete the new thread (which you can't link to as it's in the bin).

I'm hoping to have a faster and more efficient way to remove spam soon.

but for the moment this is what we got and that's why the forum was looking a bit odd yesterday and today :-)

And here I thought you were just tidying up after us argumentative types.

lol any non-spam posts that got deleted were purely accidental - honest ;-)
