I dont know if this has been brought up before but can slinging.org have a video gallery added in? Pretty please????

probably not.
There are video clips in some of the 'how-to's' but adding a video section would require a lot more storage and bandwidth than is currently needed.

Most people seem to have adopted youtube.
one thing you can do is put slingingdotorg as one of the search tags in any youtube videos.

There are an awful lot of slinging videos on youtube these days, would seem daft to duplicate that at the sites expense.

Now if someone were to compile a list of slinging-org relevant youtube videos - we could make that a sticky :-)

Yea, even a sticky would be great, cuz i think it would be beneficial to ppl who are studying about slings and dont want to go 2 youtube, just stay on this site and look at alot of slinging vids. I mean yea i would still post a vid on youtube also for more veiws.

A sticky thread is a good idea. If you (C_A) create one, and we post replies with links to videos we have found, you can add the good ones to the first post with a quick description. I reckon I could find most if not all of the slinging videos on YouTube :)

The sticky would be massive. I suggest that you post the slinging youtube channel url on the main website, under links of course.

then do it - compile a list of slinging channels or video links and I'll make it permament.
but just constantly asking: 'is this going to happen' doesn't make any difference :-)

I don't have the time or inclination, if you do - please have at it.

I think I remember something about a DVD in the past. I assume that's stalled due to lack of time, so is this idea a replacement?

nope dvd is currently waiting on video tutorials of sling making/braiding.

It will be a stand alone seperate entity.

I´ve been thinking abouta a video tutorial oif the Roickman sling. If I make one, I´ll make sure to let you know.
