Throne with a roaring forge underneath it would be a bit uncomfortable, though :o. U nless you can insulate is really well.

Now all you need is a couple more, a big fire and a few tankards of ale! Oh and maybe a bear hide or similar for padding and warmth. Sitting on cold hard surfaces interferes with the proper appreciation of the ales, and pillows might be a little too"soft" for the atmosphere we're going for... ;)

haha i would if i had any bear skins. Maybe a deer skin would be cool.  :) all of the "lesser" people i sit with just get logs.

the reason i wanted a chair and not a log is my back. If i dont have anything to rest it on it hurts, and i get grumpy when my back starts to hurt. So with leftover rocks i built my throne.  :)

I think a layer of twinky would make it more suitalbe

oh no i jumped on the thing and it held up. the arm rest is the only unstable part. The whole thing is held together by the 4 heavy back rest rocks, and alot of tiny wedges between the odder shaped rocks. Its pretty solid, you could not hit it with a hammer but it holds up to the most abusive power sitting ;D

I like my stack of rocks :) and other people ether like it or suggest that its a wast of rock ;D

You could put chunks of ice under The Throne and it would be a cooler for your bottles of beer (or soda pop) ;)

if you built a fire under the seat you would have a hot seat lol

I still don't see the point. It's a pile of rocks you sit on. At least make a swing hammock or something comfortable :-)

It looks sturdy, it wont rot, and after a while moss will grow and be soft, and you can have fun talking to bugs inbetween the rocks.  :D

i have fun talking to my dog who sits on my left.  :)

i think the chair gets too much light to grow moss :(

You might help it a little, (shade over it and lots of water) but better leave it as it is and take a pillow / cushion for the few occations you need that.

yeah but moss is soft because it's full of water :-) So not only do you need to wait 10 years you also need waterproof trousers :-)

I like the moss on the headrest!

the headrest rocks, i had to dig out of the ground out in the woods. there use to be a old church back there, that is where we got most of the rocks for the wall and my chair.

i like that moss too. Its dry but not dead yet so its quite nice to rest your head on.

When are you coming out with the "rock"ing Chair version?   Oh thats bad! ;D ;D ;D ;D
