I asked this on Reddit but will repeat here.

Not a soccer fan. I thought if a goalkeeper scored a goal all the way across the field from his own penalty box that it would have a special name…..and also be very rare.

Google did not help explain it to me. Is there a name for such a long range goal? Is it common?

In any case, I was able to score from the far-away penalty box……with the help of my sling of course!

I don't know what that would be called, but I tried it both with slings and Kylie's and they are both very fun.
