I had such a great slinging moment with a friend I had to share.

I was at his house last night and there on his table was a sling from oscarluengosoria! "is that one of Oscar's?" I asked and that sent my friend reeling  ;D

Neither of us had known the other had an interest in slinging until that moment. I've only been slinging a few months but we've barely seen each other due to life stuff, but man that'll change once he's settled into a new house and we have another shared hobby!

I told him the park where I practiced and to look for the worn out grass circles; they are either 15 or 25 yds away from a tree. I hope the Parks Department doesn't get mad.

He didn't have anything to test throw with it, but the slinging gods smiled on us and there was a tennis ball already in his backyard. We were terminally stoked.

Side note: Oscar's slings are as spectacular in person as the photos. It felt so different from my paracord sling I want to braid something right now while I wait for him to make mine.

Ha that's awesome! I've still yet to meet anyone in the wild who is into slinging. I think I would be speechless if I did  ;D And yeah Oscar's work is recognizable from a mile away. There's nothing better out there!
