Thats pretty funny. I havent seriously tried lefty slinging, I might give it a proper go.

I've managed a few abortive attempts at fig 8 with my left hand.
Sort of worked :whistle:

Also, I use helicopter with my left hand. I find it the most instinctive and also I can keep it spinning til I feel lined up properly with the target. Fig 8 was a total fail lol

It's funny how just putting the sling on the left is awkward.

I did a little lefty slinging the other day. It was more awkward than Jr. High prom. It just felt so unusual, especially because a sling in my right hand feels so perfectly natural, even more natural than hand throwing.

However, I can manage a decent apache style throw left handed, but anything more dynamic than that and I'm happy to get the shot in front of me harder than I could throw it. If anyone on here can legitimately sling with both hands, I will give them a hi-five in real life as soon as I see them (also with both hands).  :)

It is, most definitely awkward. I don't think I will be practicing like this any time soon/ever.

for the last two years, when I sling, I'll do 2 - 5 byzantine, underhand and Apache with my left. So I'll do about 6 - 15 with my left and about 30 - 60 with my right.

I'm almost as accurate with my left as right, but my left has half the power.

I'm sure if I practice as much with the left, I'd be much better.  It's good to know that if something happened to my right arm, I could still do the things I enjoy.

RJB that's awesome. I don't think I would have the gumption to train with both arms. unless something happened to my left. :-/
