Definitly a boladera but I think there might be another scene where just rocks are used and some might be slung. Kinda hard to teach an ewok (being relativly small and uncorridinated) how to sling. ;)

Those things made up of springy poles? Wouldn't work, on a couple of levels. Movie rock-throwers tend to be generally impractical. Maybe the worst were the Telmarine repeating "trebuchets" in that Narnia movie.
