Ok, hereīs what you do.
You have tied the string to one side of the bundle. On your picture, the knot is on the left bundle, so with the big piece of string you have, weave the right side bundle. Weave with the simple pattern: Up down, up,down. The reason I instructed to tie one side of the bundle is because if you leave them untied, the braided side of that bundle with become crooked from the pressure as you weave. The important thing to remember is that the long piece of string you used to tie the bundle will become one side of the split pouch. If these instructions are not clear, just ask again. |

Oh yeah, another thing. You can fix your simple sling by adding some duct tape or medicine tape to cover the big hole that allows those rocks to fall.

so you are saying i should use the string i tied to the left bundle to weave the right bundle(while the string is still tied to the left bundle)?
And the weaving, all i do is go on top and then under the middle then on top of the outside one again and then repeat? Note*Also the rocks don't really fall through that hole, they won't stay in the pouch when i try and rotate or just use the sling. They come out before i get the whole motion in. |

You got it. Good luck man. In fact, you donīt need the actual pouch weave to be tied around the bundle, thatīs what Iīm used to do. You can use a tiny piece of string to keep that bundle tied, or some tape or some clamps. As long as the bundle it tight youīll be fine. |

i assume by 4 stands you mean 3 strands from the braiding, and 1 strand that you've added in for the weaving? that's for the other strap. the part about the loop would then be on either whipping or wrapping the cord, or ending the weave. either of which isn't important, and you should just go with the rest of the sling. you'll figure it out. |

He wants to know what to do with the pouch cord remains.
Key, what I meant in the tutorial was that you UNDO the cord you used for the pouch, then tie a small knot with the individual strands. Since you used a nylon cord for the pouch, you canīt make this step. If the main braid is really tight near the remains, then melt the ends and that should be enough. Another way is to braid the remains into the release cord for a bit, then cut the excess. |
