Title: Klein bottle bag

After seeing a Klein Bottle

net at a friends blog I thought That would be ideal for carrying sling amunition or other small objects.  No need for a drawstring.  Objects are placed in the tube at A.  The bag can be carried or hung at B where the tube meets the bag.  Tony

Good question.  The tube goes through and is intermeshed with a hole in the body of the net.  Are the contents inside?  ;)

As my Cal professor would say "This is some dirty stuff! You kids go out sexing, but that's not half as dirty as this! Mathematically speaking of course."

Here is a knit Klein Bottle.

The sleeve from the bottom of the net goes through (interlaced) a slit in the main body of the net and is joined with the top of the net to form a continuous tube.   You can find net making instructions and hints at:

The golf balls roll out fairly easilly.  This golf ball net was an experinental prototype.  I am experimenting with other ways of connecting the tube shape.  Here is the latest.  Wider tube and the tennis balls are easy to retreive.  Tony

A - start of net
B - start of tube
C - tube connects to sleeve of netting wich leads to body of net.
The tube connects 2 horizontal slits of netting in the main net.  You can see the outer body of the net and the tube between B and C.
