BA-ROOOOOOOOOO !

Happy New Year ! Next Saterday the martial arts school I attend will have a chinese lion dance thru Ann Arbor Michigan . They usually do several blocks in the downtown area , I've helped in the past by being a banner carrier, once a cymbal player and another just replacing a teacher for an ongoing kids class . Lots of fun and the dancers are pretty good as they practice every Sunday at the school. :)

If you are in the area stop on by and say hi . :)

;D Know why the cat does not appear in chinese calender? It's because the rat betrayed the cat.  ;D

Hi Zorrro. Beautiful locals and also a beautiful dog! I also have a Greyhound. A brindle female about 65lbs named Banshee. Do you have someplace there where you can let her/him off the leash to run? :)

yes Bigkahuna, lot of places to let her run,  near my city there's a Natural park wich is about the whole Sierranevada Range.
Here's a pic of the mountains seen from the back of my home at Granada City

We usually go away with my brother and his dog (a Podenco Ibiizenco, sort of a geryhound with perking ears and a lot more strong.
Here's a pic of both dogs.

Very nice dogs! I have no place to let mine run as I have been told that Greyhounds will just keep on running if let loose so I keep her on a 26' leash. She likes to run in circles like a model airplane and it gets me dizzy sometimes but she enjoys it. I wish I had some pictures to post (and knew how to do it) :-[

They like hunting a lot, so they go out far away trying to hunt any critter they cross, but they come back sooner or later if they dont get in trouble.
Mine is used to my call so she comes back as soon as she can but sometimes she is so far away it takes some time to get back.

How did you obtain your dogs? I got mine from a racetrack in Connecticut, USA. When I first got her she did not know about mirrors or stairs or screen doors and some of her misadventures were quite comical. Her best friend is my daughters Dauschund. He has really taught the greyhound alot about how to play and just be a dog. I don't think she had much of a life at the racetrack. :-/

Gretchen is a German wirehaired pointer.  They are considered  very versatile hunting dogs.  I am training her for grouse.

Alright I promise that they'll work this time.....

As everyone else probably already knows, and that I just found out: don't use webshots for hosting stuff here. I've tried it on two different threads with different photos and it dosn't work.

Mine is a real mutt. We found her on the railroad tracks in a box two years ago. She is a pretty good companion, but keeps leaving presents on the carpet, and seems to have something against housetraining.

It rained in Ann Arbor last Saterday and the downtown lion dance was cancelled. We did a last minute dance for an indoor mall and a chinese pastery shop . The year of the Dog lion dance started out with a wet drizzle . Bad omen :(

I couldn't bring my mastiff Maximus etither because of the weather :(
