275 paracord

For those who desire a thin corded sling but don't want to have it all tangle up,
275 paracord may be exactly what you are looking for.
It's only 2mm thick but very strong, and extremely rigid for what it is. It's the tighest braided cord I've bought so far. Still need to make a sling with it.

Woah. It looks like it's practically wire. How much does it take to bend it? Does it "break in" eventually when used in a sling?

Trouble with social distancing? Just swing around a six-foot sling at all times.

Yes like wire but more flexible. It offers very good twist/tangle resistance
With regard to synthetics I don't think I will go back to 550 after this

It will probably soften a little over time as the fibers stretch from use.

Another paracord size I wasn't aware of.  I just found out about 425 a few months ago (sling from NOC).

I'll get some 275 and give it a try.  After getting the sling from NOC, I ordered some 425.  I've only made one sling with it so far.  I like 425 with the asymmetrical pouch that he uses.  But for a symmetrical pouch that I normally make, I think I like 550 better.  I only have the sling I got from him and the one I made, so the sample size is very small.  Still a lot of experimentation to go.  I'll definitely give the 275 a try.

FYI There is also a 325 size. I haven’t tried it yet either.

I believe 275 is a lot stiffer than 325

I also have 95 paracord but it has only 1 inner strand and has no stiffness at all, I think 275 is the right way because its the thinnest with the most inner strands.
