Have you thrown stones or clay balls with it?

Stones infrequently.  This has only happened if I was digging in the yard and found a stone that looked nice for slinging.

Never used clay.  It's definitely on my want-to-do list.  Maybe one of these days I'll get some and can do a clay vs. pykrete video. Smiley

Nice shot, Joe.  My favorite sling has a cupped pouch also... I use all types of sling but my go to is a  a modified jute PJ with an elongated pouch.  I generally shoot oval shaped white river stones which are abundant in South Jersey.  Or golf balls.
Question: are you good with a yoyo?  It seems like you would be.

Not really.  Although I had that same thought.  After I copied the recording to my computer and took a look at it, my first thought was it looked similar to yo-yo tricks.  I've tried tried working with a yo-yo at different points in my life.  I was never any good.  I always had trouble getting the thing to sleep.
