What type of braid do you normally use?
I'm just doing a simple 3-strand flat braid (but with 6 strands, doubled up into 3) with #18 nylon line. It's all I know how to do at the moment. I intend to learn more techniques.

Do you hae a favorite bird? A most rare bird youve seen?
At the moment, I rather enjoy watching cedar waxwings as my favorite (hence the screen name). But my favorite bird is always fluid...it tends to vary between other birds I find in the yard, depending upon the season. I can't recall if I've seen any bird that's truly rare. To me, I think the most noteworthy birds I've observed are those that aren't necessarily rare, but that are more often heard than seen, such as the belted kingfisher or the barred owl. I've also observed a number of pileated woodpeckers in my neighborhood in the last year, which is a sudden change from past years (you might hear them, but a siting was rare). Lately, I've been trying to sneak a peak at an American Bittern I often hear in a certain wetlands I walk around often. If I can actually spot it, I think that will be the holy grail of my bird observations. They are elusive.

should have told me - I'd have reset your original account.
You've changed your email address or it would have flagged it up when I went to set this one up.
Yes, I am using a different e-mail as my primary. No worries, a new screen name is fine with me. I didn't do anything horrible and get banned under the old screen name.
