Merry Christmas!
Christmas means a lot to me this year as I get to watch it through the eyes of my 3 young boys. I never appreciated all the work my parents put into creating Christmas morning magic every year while I was growing up, but being on the other end now as the parent, it truly is more blessed to give than to receive.

My nephew from Indiana, David, gave me something special on Christmas... his Bronchitis. It's one of the pitfalls of the holidays... people traveling and spreading germs all over the world.

only got back from visitting family yesterday. Hope you all had a merry Christmas. My main take away? After all that food I need to exercise.

Yes. Christmas feasting inspires New Year's resolutions.  I could drop 20 lbs myself.

I do wish that chocolate covered pretzels were the health equivalent of kale.  Grin

The gift that keeps on giving.  The bug my nephew gave me on Christmas is still kicking my butt.  It's been almost two weeks. Today it was the trots. In that it's been three or four years since I was sick I'm not surprised that it's hanging around this long. I am very tired of this stinking bug.

It might be two weeks after official Christmas in the West and the world already seems to have forgotten it. But let us remember the spirit of Christmas and its message again so shortly after, in the scary events that happened the last few days and what might follow.
Peace to all peoples on the earth
May peace melt the hearts of those who seek war
