Now how far can you throw them!? That's the important bit!

Nothing better than skewered Hastati for dinner.

Thanks!

I haven't tested max range yet, I don't have the right place to do it.
I'd guess the last dart would reach 100m .
the longer the range you are aiming to hit the shorter the fins you can use=>more time to align & less drag.

Ingenious indeed. The reload mechanism is smooth and fast. I like it a lot.

Little off subject but mind if I ask what program and hardware you use to edit your videos? It's very well done.

software: I cannot give a straight answer to that. Nooc also had asked and if i remember correct I told him "the best"
https://www.pcmag.com/roundup/291335/the-best-video-editing-software

hardware: dell laptop , my first, a desktop would be much better for the job
processor: intel i5-7200u @ 2.5GHz 2.7ghz when exporting the video goes to 3Ghz for several minutes or hours depending on the video...
8GB ram
dedicated GPU Radeon R7 M445, I was very disappointed when i realised it's almost useless for editing I should have bought an i7 instead of a dedicated gpu.

Thanks Sarosh. I'm seriously leaning to a Surface Pro 6 and based on what I saw yesterday it can edit videos. The fact that you are without a (decent) dedicated gpu gives me hope that it will be fine as well. Good stuff by the way. Always enjoy your videos.

@
Morphy

if you are planning to do a lot of editing I would suggest a desktop for better specs at the same price.
And a big screen(like a TV) will be very helpful if you want to edit a video like the long range videos i've made, it's very difficult to make out the falling stones in a 15,6" screen.

@Morphy, for editing I really like the video editing mode in Blender. It’s 100% free but still functions similar to Final Cut or Adobe Premiere.

Thanks guys I hear LumaFusion is also very good.

I'm fairly certain at this point that Sarosh is using top secret video editing software usually reserved for Area 51 employees. The accent is also a clever disguise. His real name is Bob and he's originally from Jersey.

Obviously all this talk of “software” is a clever distraction to protect his film splicing secrets.
