Hello from a Dutchman in Berlin
Mar 5th, 2019 at 2:10pm

Unfortunately I was not as lucky as some of you. I did play with a slingshot and a blowpipe with paper darts as a kid, but I only found the sling on youtube some years ago. I made a paracord sling and I've been playing with rocks and golf balls on and off, but it's not easy to find the right place to practice in the center of Berlin, so I've mainly been tossing rocks into the river Spree.

I second this. Tennis balls are a lot less intimidating for the general public as well. I have a park and fields nearby but I still really prefer using tennis balls just so I don't freak people out.
