New Personal Design?
Nov 22nd, 2018 at 1:20am

I modded my PJ sling to have a split just offset from each edge of the pouch. This being that I was experimenting with the weave makes this specific sling a bit ragged, I had tested with a snowball, so far stable. Of course I'll do some further testing of this, I'm pretty confident it'll hold up, but just for safety's sake. Smiley

I'm thinking if anybody wants to see a tutorial, I'll refine it into a cleaner, finalized design.

Looks nice . I personally think that the weight should be predominantly in the pouch.

I've done a few pouches like that, I find that standard rockman tends to outperform it, though it is a nice looking design.
In my experience, the two split bits don't move apart very easily to cup a projectile (unlike rockman which cups well), so you just end up with a mostly flat pouch which can let projectiles slip out the side.

I'm sure if you could solve the cupping thing it would be really good though.

Judo you must try the mersa split pouch , it won't disappoint if you make it right.
