My pumpkin is officially dead I had my last attempt from 10m but was stuck with the same odd stones. I had one glancing hitbut not sure how many throws , maybe 40.
Then I moved the camera close and threw from approx 5-6 m
Bigger stones and trying to hit the old wounds. They were mouldy soft and on both oppisite sides. Had 2 major hits on the soft stuff.
Note to anyone who's doing this , get heavy dense sharp ammo if you want to destroy a fresh pumpkin. If the challenge of smashing a "Fresh" pumpkin isn't do important as just hitting the pumpkin and you want some theatrics they remove parts and let it go rotten. Rocks work great then!!

Shot 2 I didn't get on film but had great penetration, got a few snaps . And that's me officially finished with this years pumpkin challenge (unless I somehow find a random pumpkin on Halloween I'm allowed to sling) Bring on SITHmas !!!

Good hits! I'm still kind of hoping I can find a really cheap umpkin somewhere but then saying that it's getting pretty darn cold and rainy so slinging season is quickly coming to an end. Snowball slinging is still a way off :/

That's a great hit. Looks like you shot it with a gun.  Cheesy

I would say it's fair to say Mersa is leading. I mean the first hit he got on camera had the rock explode if not the pumpkin which looked pretty darn cool Cheesy

So I went to the store today and what do they have, a huge crate of "carving" pumpkins , the standard orange ones. They are so much more hollow and I'm sure I could hit it because there bigger than a basketball. Shame I'm busy for the next while.

It's started snowng here but is melting on contact with the ground. It's been cold, dark and miserable for the last few days and I'm not feeling all that motivated to drag myself out there...

Alas, I didn’t have time to murder any pumpkins this Halloween, so instead, here’s a non-slinging video of what might have been:

well as mersa is the only one who's posted any pics of a proper dead pumpkin.
And unless we have any late entries - I declare him the winner Smiley

I would say a deserving winner. Hopefully next year I'll have graduated and will have more time to destroy pumpkins Cheesy

Maybe for Christmas we should have something like an ice destruction contest, along with good ole SITH. See who can get through the thickest ice. Though, our members in warmer climates won’t be able to participate like myself. But it would be interesting to see.
