Posts: 115	Re: Tutorial: Flint Sling Reply #31 - Aug 19^th, 2018 at 10:57pm Yes its an electric brander and yes it works well on already tanned leather, you just have to make sure it heats up all the way and maybe do a few passes on the leather if needed.

Heres what i got so far for the fitting. Try to imagine a small vertical line of sinew on the center of each eye and down the center of the tentacles. I dont think I can go much smaller since my punch is 2mm and i want to have at least 1mm left on each side of the hole, i want you to get the most use possible without worrying about busting anything loose. If you don't like it, i have another method i can try tomorrow when my new hole punch arrives

I usually let mine heat for at least 5 mins before I start burning. If you want one of my pouches and dont feel like making it yourself, i have a couple for sale in the marketplace
